On this episode we meet Rafael Martinez, a PhD Candidate in Chicano and Chicana Studies at the University of New Mexico.His research conducts a deep social, historical and political analysis of immigrant rights and undocumented youth. Rafael specializes in social movement, immigration, and transnational studies as theoretical frameworks that help guide his analysis. We discuss identity, activism and working with immigrant youth.
